About me

I am a Filipino citizen, Canadian Permanent resident as of Dec. 15 2010. I live in a beautiful Mohawk Territory, the Tyendinaga in Ontario Canada.

This blog mainly tackles life in Canada,  the adjustments ,the  new things, the culture, and  everything that I love  writing about.  Since it was  quite a process  for me to get here, I will also share  some tips or  information I know  about  Canadian spousal immigration.

Thank you and Welcome  to my blog.

  2. Hello! I think it's better for you to sponsor her inside Canada and I guess that's the only way for now since you are both here in Canada. To sponsor somebody outside Canada that somebody should be outside Canada. The question is how long does your wife's working visa valid. because to sponsor a spouse in the philipines takes 3-6 months according to people I know and my case then was 6 months but then you know the embassy would say its 1 year, ther eare just veryyyy few cases that it will a year. The only drawback when you someone inside Canada , I read from forums and hearsays, that they prioritize spouses or families who are far from each other. Try to check Canadian Immigration website I am positive that it wont be too long I guess if you chose to sponsor inside. If I were you since you are already married why not work on sponsoring now so your church wedding in the Philippine next year will be all party, no hassle no stress from the process.Congratulations! Good luck on your application. Feel free to ask if you have more questions
